In condensed matter physics, the phenomenon of charge transfer at heterogeneous interface is closely related to the generation of two-dimensional electron gas, metal-insulator transition and superconducting state.Using oxide molecular beam epitaxy and spherical aberration corrected transmission electron microscopy, Gu Chenyi studied the charge transfer phenomenon at the LaTiO3/LaFeO3 perovskite oxide interface with atomic resolution accuracy.This study is the first direct observation to LaTiO3 / LaFeO3 interface from Ti3 + to the charge transfer of Fe3 + by analyzing the electron energy loss spectrum. Throug the quantitative analysis of the valence state change of Fe, it is found that the charge transfer mainly occurs in the interface layer. This research provides important information about the charge transfer in the perovskite oxide interface as well as the related design : Phys. Rev. B 104 (8), 085115 (2021).
