In a collaboration with Prof. Haihu Wen, Yueying syntheisize high quality Sr doped NdNiO2 superconductingfilms by molecular beam epitaxy. Prof. Wen’s group performed systematic STM measurements on these films and observed intriguing coexistence of V-shape and U-shape energy gaps, providing valuable information in understanding the superconductivity in nickelates.
